Experienced Certified Nurse Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) to join our team! You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide high quality patient care. We have various shifts 12 hour and 8 hours available throughout the Central Valley. We are looking for experienced CNAs who are willing to travel to near by facilities as we do have day and night positions open.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care under direction of nursing staff
- Administer prescribed medications to patients
- Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
- Assist in the transport of patients
- Provide companionship and basic care to patients
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
Job Requirements
- An active California Certified Nurse Assistant License
- An American Heart certified Basic Life Support card (BLS)
- At least 1 year or more worth of experience as a CNA (Home Health, Long term care, skilled nursing, etc)
- Previous experience in nursing, patient care, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Ability to work well in teams
