Job Description
Under direct supervision and direction of the Facility Administrator (AA) or higher licensed medical professional, the Medical Assistant provides direct and non-direct patient care, participating in the patient plan of care by administering a variety of duties in the areas of treatment to patients, laboratory, check in/out and within scope, following written/oral instructions, and communicating and maintaining accurate patient events records.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- 2-5 years’ experience as a Medical Assistant
- Must be proficient in the use of an electronic medical record
- Medical Assistant Certification or Diploma in MA required
- Phlebotomy or blood draw experience preferred
- BLS/CPR Certification
- Great customer service skills
